Supporting Students’ Mathematic Learning

Middle School

(5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade)

Fifth grade marks an important transition for learning mathematics. Students must use all the basic mathematical skills they have already learned to begin making sense of more complex mathematical concepts. One or two missing pieces or unmastered skills can make middle school math frustrating and difficult. This tutoring opportunity builds upon your child’s current math skills and shows them how to transition those skills into higher-level mathematics courses.

High School

(Algebra 1 and higher)

Have a math test coming up and need help with some problems? Want help with a couple concepts from math class which still do not make sense? Whether your student needs regular support or periodic help, this tutoring opportunity will support the specific needs of your high school student in whichever high school math he or she takes.
